The Tarot is a wonderful map upon the road to self
knowledge.
Whatever you believe that it is, you will benefit greatly by its
use.
As a guide to everyday life, the Tarot can assist you in determining
which road to take, what your options are and perhaps how to proceed.
No one is certain where the cards came from and many writers, scholars
and students of this art differ on what they believe the Tarot is
and what it can or cannot do. More than a device for "fortune
telling", I believe that this mysterious seeming deck of cards
can present the reader and questioner alike with perhaps a different
outlook, a new view point and some fresh options where life's issues
are concerned. Be open minded. Listen to your inner feelings and
your heart and the cards will have much to say. The Tarot cards
don't have to be "strangers" to you. You can learn to
relate to them in everyday terms.
Whether you believe in psychic abilities, coincidence, synchronicity,
fate, destiny, or psychology, my method of relating to the cards
will surely enlighten you in some way.
It is not my intention here to discuss the complete history of Tarot.
My hope is that this simple method will appeal to those who previously
would have not experienced the Tarot because, perhaps it was thought
to be too complicated.
In recent years the Tarot has suffered some negative press due,
unfortunately, to those who would seek to deceive others in the
name of cash. Hopefully, those who would use the Tarot to take advantage
of others and situations that present the Tarot in a very negative
light are finally now passing away and the Tarot can be explored
as it should be. I have endeavoured to keep the material here manageable,
readable and interesting to everyone. Be assured that I am not seeking
to demystify the Tarot, for the mystery of the Tarot is part of
its magical charm.

Go Slowly and don't rush it. Sometimes things are
not as they seem and a message received by a certain card or reading
may not "turn on the lightbulb" over your head right away!
It may take some time to sort out or understand a meaning or two.
So, now you should begin collecting what you need to start learning
the Tarot. First, you need to consider what deck to use. It is totally
up to you. Just as we all speak a different language, the images
on the diferent decks speaks to each of us uniquely. Either create
an online Journal for your Tarot work or purchase a notebook. If
you would like to have an online Journal, CLICK
HERE for a source of easy to use TEMPLATES that
will work just great. If you are into blogging, you can do a search
in Google for blogging resources. You will need a table on which
to spread the cards in a quiet area so you will not be disturbed.
How much time you allot for study is up tp you, but don't rush.
Give yourself ample time and DON'T answer the phone! This is your
private time and should be treated with some respect!

IT IS IMPORTANT TO
MENTION BEFORE GOING ANY FURTHER THAT THESE TWO CARDS CAUSE CONCERN
FOR SOME.
DEATH REPRESENTS TRANSFORMATION AND
CHANGE. MOVING FROM ONE PHASE OF LIFE TO ANOTHER, OPENING A NEW
DOOR.
THE DEVIL IS THAT WITHIN OURSELVES
WHICH WE ARE RELUCTANT TO CHANGE AND IMAGINED RESTRICTIONS AND POSSIBLY
LOOKING AT THINGS LESS SERIOUSLY AND WITH A SENSE OF HUMOR.
Transformation and change are clearly what this card speaks about.
Never physical Death. Imagine change as a refreshing breath of fresh
air that makes everything clear, opens a new door, turns a page.
Personal growth may also be indicated. Shedding one's old skin and
beginning anew.

Transformation and change are clearly what this card speaks about.
Never physical Death. Imagine change as a refreshing breath of fresh
air that makes everything clear, opens a new door.
Imagined restrictions, getting beyond one's personal boundaries
and fear of change are here, Not at all what you might think. Look
at the figures in chains...they are free to leave whenever they
choose.
Possibly the reason that we fear these images is
because in traditional society we have been taught that they are
negative and we should be afraid to explore them. This is not the
case at all. They must be explored to be understood.
As a little exercise, write down 10 positive things about each of
these cards. YOU FIRST impressions of the positive eaffects of these
cards. Keep it for later study. You may be surprised at what you
learn from it!
